Join us at the Old Town Albuquerque block party--this week is the Hat Party

The block parties in Old Town this summer are proving to be great fun with some wonderful entertainers.  This Friday, July 17th, is the Hat Party in front of the Old Town Hat Shop at 205-C San Felipe Street NW. 

Cadillac-bob-rhinestones The entertainment line-up starting at 6:00 p.m. is Sophisticated Ladies, Zoltan Orkestar, The Mirandas, and Cadillac Bob and the Rhinestones. 

In addition, the Old Town Hat Shop will award cash prizes for

  • best western hat
  • best vintage hat
  • best blues hat
  • best original funny hat

(to register for the contest, call 242-4019)

My Friday night social calendar is all booked up.  I'll be there in my lawn chair wearing my best hat.
